How to do Stretch Recovery Testing for Fitness Apparel?

Stretch recovery testing is an important test for fitness wear to ensure that the fabric retains its shape and size after being stretched. The following are the steps for conducting stretch recovery testing for Fitness Clothing:

1. Cut a sample of the fabric: Cut a sample of the fitness wear fabric that is large enough to be stretched in all directions.
2. Mark the sample: Mark a line on the sample to indicate the original length of the fabric before stretching.
3. Stretch the fabric: Stretch the fabric to a specific length and hold it there for a predetermined period of time. This is usually done by using a specialized machine that can stretch the fabric accurately.
4. Release the stretch: Release the fabric from the stretch and allow it to rest for a predetermined period of time.
5. Measure the recovery: Measure the length of the fabric after the rest period and compare it to the original length. This will give you the recovery percentage.
6. Repeat the test: Repeat the test at least three times to get an accurate average of the recovery percentage.
7. Analyze the results: Analyze the results to determine if the fabric meets the required recovery percentage for fitness wear.

8. Take action: If the fabric does not meet the required recovery percentage, take corrective action to improve the fabric's stretch recovery properties.

Use the special universal tensile test specimen, and cut a width of 3IN that is at least placed in the standard atmospheric conditions middle note and wet for at least 4H

To ensure a coil circumference of 10 inches, form a cloth loop along the outer sewing thread, and use a constant load of 10 LBF and a speed of 500 MM/MIN to repeatedly stretch for 3 times. Deform its length, and calculate its elastic elongation and tensile recovery rate based on its deformation size after releasing the negative value. The standard requires an elongation rate of>95% and a recovery rate of<5%
